The Georgian Grande
Welcome to ASSRA's newest addition - the registry of the Georgian Grande. The Georgian Grande is the result of breeding between the American Saddlebred and the Friesian or Draft Horse, which commonly includes the Clydesdale, Percheron or Shire. The purpose is to develop a heavier boned, more old fashioned type that still retains the elegance of a riding horse. ASSRA are thrilled to be the Sister Registry for the Georgian Grande in Australia, in collaboration with the International Georgian Grande Society.
